DAY 8, JUNE 26, 2019 [Part 2]
We started out around 1:30pm, trying to locate the Commissary, Exchange & the Gas Station. On our way we wondered into base housing.
The Navy housing was never like this. Oh, to do it all over again!!
Next to the Commissary was a bunch was brand new tanks covered in white plastic. Rebuilding our military!!1
From there we went looking to take pictures of Hill’s Fighter Wing, what we found out, there wasn’t …. 1, ONE plane to be had. Not even those flying to get flight time/training. The question that comes to mind is – Is there something they’re not telling us? In any case, this base is beautiful, located on a plateau over-looking Ogden. We drove completely around the base – all 6698 acres of it.
Arrived back at camp at 4:30 for BBQ chicken & coleslaw ~ YUM!!
