Our summer journey to Wyoming, starts tomorrow morning around 6:00 am. But before I get into the specifics of our trip, I want to show you the before & after photos of the repairs that had to be completed after our Canadian Trip of 2018; plus, the damages from a flat tire to our RV in New Mexico some two months ago. Total damages amounted to of over $3000.00. With the repairs now completed and new shoes for our truck & RV, we’re ready to travel once again.
AFTER PICTURE!This Summer, we’re heading to Riverton, Wyoming to spend time with Vonda, Durk, & Lissa ~ Jaime & Brian’s aunts & uncle. Brian’s mother, Gerry is there spending the Summer. We’ll be arriving in time for the “1838” Wyoming Mountain Man Rendezvous. The rendezvous has been done every year in the same spot since 1838, making it the longest running rendezvous in the US.
But before we can get there, our travels stops will be many. Our first stop takes us to Fort Tuthill Army Base, located just south of Flagstaff. Then onto Nellis AFB, in Las Vegas, Nevada, where we’ll be soaking up 4 days of “S & S”, for those who are not in the know ~ it’s know as Slots & Shows. Depending on how much money we’ll have left after S&S, we expect to get to Hill AFB, in Ogden, Utah for 3 days to “ROL”, i.e. Recupe Our Losses. With God as our Co-Pilot, we should be arriving in Riverton, Wyoming on or around the 29th of June.
So Stay tuned!
Excited to see a lot of pictures of this adventure.
